Force Lacrosse Winter Training
Force Lacrosse has many offerings for the end of winter to help boys prepare for the upcoming community season. We understand that there are many options in NEO for your lacrosse training so we hope that you will consider the Force for your training needs!
Beginner Boys and Girls
We have Learn to Play for both boys and girls, Youth and Middle School groups, who have little to no experience with lacrosse but would like an introduction to all of the foundational skills that will set players up for success as they move into more advanced training. We use staff members from both our boys and girls travel programs who love working with beginners and provide individual attention in a fun and positive environment. A stick is the only required equipment needed and we can provide a loaner for those who do not have their own at this time.
Boys Skills and Drills for Intermediate and Advanced Players
Full pads and full contact drills focused on reinforcing the foundation skills while introducing next level skills. Individual skills, small-sided games, and an emphasis on Lax IQ as boys are introduced to both offensive and defensive concepts. This group balances individual skill improvement with group play.
Shooter's School and Goalie Academy
Our most intensive training for intermediate and advanced players. Tons of reps under our top travel coaches giving constant feedback and recommendations to take even the most advanced players to the next level! Video is used to break down technique to help each player not only improve but to develop an individual game plan for improvement that can be used on their own in the spring season as well.
For advanced players/athletes Youth through high school. Tryouts for Youth and Middle School players are part of our travel practices Sunday 2-4 PM at Force Richmond January 27th, February 3, 10, 17. Any boy interested in trying out for our competitive program should contact Chris Davis via email or phone for more information.
